Jesus Christ. Power and Politics

Alexander Urumov was born in 1969. He holds a master's degree in Bulgarian studies from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". Urumov has worked in public communications and media for over twenty years and has accumulated extensive professional experience as journalist and publicist. He has held various important positions in government institutions, such as: spokesman of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Bulgaria and chief of the office of the Minister of Defense. Alexander Urumov has participated in training programs in public relations and leadership in Germany and the US. He is also the author of two plays nominated for the highest Bulgarian drama award. Currently, he is the spokesman of the Bulgarian Central Bank and a member of the Communications Committee at the European Central Bank.
Urumovs interest in the study of the Bible goes back to 1995 when he started work on the book Jesus Christ. Power and Politics. It is a combined product of his scholarly pursuits and professional political and journalistic experience.
